Exiles EU is a "mature" guild, mostly consisting of adults that have RL responsibilities, but still want to enjoy WoW Ascension together (currently active on Bronzebeard and CoA — Vol'jin).
The founders were sick of drama and micromanaging from other guilds and decided to take matters into their own hands. 8)
Our general rules are pretty simple:
don't be a cunt
This pretty much sums it up. Don't be greedy, don't be needlessly mean, don't grief, show up on time for raids and be prepared, follow some simple instructions (in raids) and just be a pleasant person to be around.
We will not micromanage drama and we won't tolerate any kind of tantrums.
At the same time we do not care if you want to pug somewhere else or just take some "days off". This is not a job. Obviously we do notice absences, but no one will get "punished" for it.
Some additional rules we had to add:
- Don't take items from the guild bank just to sell them on the AH.
- If you're unhappy about raid loot and flame our lootmaster and leave mid-raid, we will not tolerate such childish nonsense and you will get kicked.
- Also double-check the raid sign-up. Do not try to insult our guild master just because you gaslit yourself and are doubling down on "I put myself on tentative" when in fact you didn't (and then went on doing mythic dungeons instead of just joining later and got an attitude because you were called out).
- Please do not apply / join if you do not understand basic English. (Does it make sense to write this down here?)
